Terms of use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Clock Loom (“Clock Loom”, “we”, “us”), the provider of the Clock Loom service at clockloom.com. By creating an account or using Clock Loom you agree to them. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
Your account
You need an account to use the dashboard. Give us accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to your account. You're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live to buy a Pro subscription.
Using Clock Loom
You may use Clock Loom to record, plan and organise your own work and your team's work. Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break or test its security, overload it, access other people's accounts or data, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your content
You own everything you put into Clock Loom: time entries, projects, tasks, meetings, notes, links and files. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can provide the service to you. You can download a full copy at any time.
Free plan and Pro trial
Clock Loom has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Every new account starts with a free Pro trial (currently 30 days); no payment details are needed to start it. When the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe to Pro. None of your content is deleted when this happens; Pro features are simply locked until you upgrade.
Pro subscriptions and payment
Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Current prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, where any sales tax or VAT for your country is added. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account → Plan & billing → Manage billing, or by emailing [email protected]. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for; after that your account moves to the Free plan with all your content kept. Deleting your account also cancels your subscription.
Refund policy
If you're not happy with Clock Loom Pro, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment (your first payment or a renewal). Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or contact Paddle through the link in your receipt. Refunds are made by Paddle to your original payment method, and your subscription is then cancelled.
After 14 days, payments are not refundable and we don't give partial refunds for unused time in a billing period, but you can cancel at any time so that you aren't charged again. None of this affects any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Changes to plans and prices
We may change which features are in each plan, and our prices. If a price change affects your subscription, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you wish. If we take away a Pro feature you rely on, we'll tell you first.
Availability
We work to keep Clock Loom available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own backups of anything important; the full JSON backup is available on every plan.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Clock Loom, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; if we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part of your subscription.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
