What is Clock Loom?
Clock Loom is a web app for tracking time and planning work in one place. It combines a one-click time tracker, a day and week planner, a meetings calendar, projects, tasks and a notebook, and draws everything you track on a single timeline of the working day. It is made for freelancers, consultants and small teams who would otherwise use a separate time tracker, planner and task list.

What you can do with Clock Loom
- Track time with a one-click timer or by adding entries by hand, against a project, a task and a person.
- See the day as a timeline: every entry and meeting on a 24-hour strip, with a daily target and a streak.
- Plan the day and the week in time blocks on the Schedule, then compare what you planned with what you tracked.
- Review the week: hours against capacity, where the time went, tasks closed and how much of the plan you followed.
- Run projects with hour budgets, milestones, attached documents, notes and reusable templates.
- Manage tasks as lists or a drag-and-drop board, with estimates, due dates, priorities and repeating tasks.
- Keep meetings on a weekly calendar with join links, notes and action items.
- Write notes in notebooks with sections, tags and search, and export them as Word, PDF or Markdown.
- Plan a small team: add collaborators, assign work and see each person's capacity for the week.
- Get reports written for you: weekly reports and standup notes drafted from your own data.
Each of these is described on the features page and shown step by step in the user guide.
What makes it different
- One timeline. Time entries, meetings, tasks and notes share the same projects and people, so nothing has to be copied between apps.
- Plan against reality. The Schedule holds what you meant to do; the timer records what happened. Clock Loom shows both side by side.
- It asks before it counts. If the timer runs while you are away from the computer, Clock Loom asks whether to keep or trim that time instead of quietly logging it.
- It looks after the person. Reminders for eye breaks, posture, movement and water, and a private daily check-in.
What Clock Loom does not do
Knowing the limits helps you choose the right tool.
- No invoicing or billable rates. Clock Loom records hours. To bill a client, export your entries as CSV and use your invoicing tool.
- No automatic activity tracking. It does not record apps, websites, screenshots or keystrokes. Time is tracked when you start the timer or add an entry.
- No native phone apps. It runs in the browser and can be added to a home screen, but the dashboard is laid out for larger screens.
- No built-in integrations with other apps. Meetings can be imported from and exported to calendar invite (.ics) files, and data leaves as CSV or JSON.
- Not a shared live workspace. Each person has their own account and board. A lead can add collaborators to their board to assign work and plan capacity.
