Billing questions
How does the free trial work?
Every new account gets 30 days of Pro with every feature open. You don't enter a card to start. A week before the end we email you a reminder, and you choose whether to upgrade.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you don't upgrade, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: your entries, projects, tasks, meetings and notes all stay. Pro features show a small lock, and upgrading opens them again straight away.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from Account → Plan & billing → Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then the account moves to Free with all your data.
Who handles the payment?
Payments are processed by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle takes the card, adds any sales tax or VAT for your country, sends your receipts and handles refunds. Clock Loom never sees your card details.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, from the billing page in your account. Paddle works out the difference for the time already paid.
Does each person need their own plan?
Each Clock Loom account has its own plan. A team lead on Pro can add collaborators to their board, assign them work and plan their time.
Can I get my data out on the Free plan?
Yes. The full JSON backup is free on every plan, from the dashboard or from your account page.
